There are some light snow showers moving through the region this morning but these are nothing to be concerned with as they will be so light with no accumulations expected. These should clear out by mid morning through the afternoon before more rain and potential snow chances come back into the forecast later tonight.
As far as temperatures go we are starting out for the most part in the upper 30s across the region, and these temperatures should have no problem warming into the mid to upper 40s by this afternoon. With temperatures falling overnight tonight back into the low to mid 20s for our overnight low.
This weekend looks fantastic as we should see sunshine during both days, although clouds will be on the increase on Saturday due to the approaching weather maker that will begin to impact our region late Sunday night and into Monday. This is the first of multiple systems that will impact the region next week. We are currently monitoring these systems for the potential of significant heavy rainfall. We will have the latest information on this potential rainfall during today’s afternoon update.
