Currently this morning there are a few showers across part of the region with more widespread showers off to our south and west.
Rainfall today does not look to be too heavy in general as we should be able to get a majority of the rain out of here by noon today. The real fun in the forecast comes as we move into the overnight hours tonight.
The potential is there during the evening and overnight hours for some snow to fall. Accumulations with this system will be very light. A general dusting to 1/2″ an inch is likely in the western portions of our region with the eastern portions of the region looking at 1/2″-1″ of snow.
With that being said, a majority of the snowfall will be on the grassy and elevated surfaces because of the roadway temperatures being below freezing.
As the snow moves into the region make sure and send us your reports on Facebook and Twitter!
