It is a rainy start across Southern Kentucky this morning as waves of rainfall are making their way through the region. If you are heading out this morning make sure to grab your umbrella!
Along with the rain this morning the wind has kicked up ahead of the cold front that will move through later this afternoon. A Wind Advisory has been placed for a majority of the region for that very reason. If you have plans to be out be prepared to encounter strong gusty winds along with the moderate to heavy rain.
Colder temperatures will dominate the story behind this front as temperatures once the front moves through will begin to fall into the low 20s tonight, and by Monday we will struggle to reach the 30s for a high in some places. So you will want to be prepared for colder weather and make plans to dress much warmer if you have plans on being outside.
