As you are waking up this morning and preparing to head out for the day there are some rain showers working their way through the region. These showers are not as widespread as what we saw across the region yesterday, but you need to be prepared to encounter a shower or two on your morning commute.
As far as temperatures go this morning we are setting in the upper 30s to low 40s across a majority of the region, and we will not warm up too much from where we are right now as afternoon highs today will only warm into the mid to upper 40s as the rain comes to an end and the skies remain cloudy.
More rain will move into the region tomorrow, and even a few thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. The Storm Prediction Center has a majority of our area in a Marginal (1/5) risk area for severe weather for tomorrow. This will be updated and could be changed. We will keep our eyes on it and keep you updated with the latest here on the blog as well as on our afternoon video updates.
