After a round of severe weather moved through the region late yesterday and into the overnight hours today has been a very nice day overall across the region. Visible satellite shows very few clouds with abundant sunshine dominating the region, along with some gusty winds.
With those thunderstorms that moved through the region we also had a cold front move through the region, but temperatures have not fallen very much. Temperatures around the region are in the mid to upper 60s with some places in the Lake Cumberland region even reaching into the low 70s.
We look to get another dry day across the region on your Monday with temperatures topping out for the most part in the mid to upper 60s.
Our next weather maker will make its way into the region during the overnight hours of Monday and into Tuesday. Looking at the current data it appears that our rainfall totals throughout that period look to be between a half to one inch of rain. So not too much in the way of rainfall but it does appear that those showers will stick around for most of the day and it is not impossible that we could see some thunderstorms. No severe weather is expected with any of those thunderstorms.
