A cooler start this morning across the region with temperatures in the upper 30s in some places to the low 40s in others. Temperatures this afternoon wont get much warmer than where we are now with a chilly north wind blowing throughout the day.
The good news is we get to stay dry, at least for a couple of days until our next weather maker makes its way through the region. Bringing with it a shot of much colder air. Temperatures by the start of next week look to feel much more like winter with highs struggling to make it into the mid 30s.
This lines up perfectly with what the Climate Prediction Center had been forecasting in their long range outlooks, as well as what they are currently forecasting for the period of 6-10 days.
