Rain is working through the region this morning as we expected making for a wet morning commute. If you are headed out this morning you will want to make sure to grab an umbrella or a rain jacket as this rain is going to linger through most of the morning hours. Once the rain clears out, cloudy skies will dominate the rest of your Tuesday.
As far as temperatures, we are setting in the mid 50s across almost the entirety of Southern Kentucky, and temperatures are going to be falling throughout the afternoon and into the evening as we fall into the low 30s for our overnight low.
Another system will approach the area late tomorrow night into early Thursday morning, but for now I am expecting it to stay to the south of our region. With temperatures being below freezing as it approaches any moisture that is able to work its way out would fall as snow, but as of now no accumulations are expected.
