It is a cold start to your Monday as the region is experiencing some of the coldest temperatures that we have seen this winter season. Region wide temperatures are in the mid to upper teens, with wind chill values in the single digits.
As you are heading out this morning you will want to make sure that you are grabbing a coat and starting your car and letting it run for a few minutes before you head out. If you are planning on being outdoors for a while today make sure that you dress in layers in order to keep warm.
As you are waking up you may be seeing a few snow flurries falling. These are falling due to the arctic air making its way into the region pushing out any moisture in the atmosphere. We will not see anything in terms of accumulation out of these flurries and travel will not be impacted.
The next few days look absolutely gorgeous as we have finally gotten rid of the rain for a few days in a row. But that will not last as another system is going to work its way in for the end of the week bringing with it another chance of rain for your Friday.
Today: Flurries before 10 AM, with a wind out of the north at 5-10 mph, wind chill values as low as in the single digits. Hi: 32°
